Falling Population (RSS/Google Alert 2)

Hey there!

My next post is going to be about one more issue that I found using "feedly.com". What an amazing thing are RSS Feed and Google Alerts!! :)

http://www.tradingeconomics.com/ukraine/population

Population of Ukraine the last 10 years extremely fell down. After breaking apart from Soviet Union, more and more people were born in Ukraine and the population was extremely growing. But soon people started seeing things they didn't like without trying to change them and they moved and are still moving from Ukraine to other countries with hope that life there will be better.

Let's not waste our time! Bringing patriotic spirit and raising happiness in our countries we can make people want to do projects with us, we can make them help us with our social campaigns!

Escaping from your home country and community will not help you and your family. You will always remember your brothers and sisters who needed your help, there back home.

As the last diagram shows (sorry for non-English language) in 20-30 years if people will keep moving and population will not grow from the 50 million country to the 25 million! That is terrible! It's like loosing a half of the citizens, loosing the half of the true Ukrainians!

Let's Break the Walls (RSS/Google Alert 1)

Hello again,

My second post will be about my thoughts watching a video that I found using the RSS and Google Alerts.
I'm so happy that I watched it, that I encourage everyone to do the same.
This video is showing us, the difference how serious issues in the home-country may affect citizens. After some social/political and economical accidents in Ukraine millions of people understood the real meaning of the words "mother land".

No matter what, anything can happen in our countries, good or bad, but it opens people's eyes, mind and heart. And everything will be fine in the end, it's just the process of growing.

So my idea here is that during such big things in our countries like revolutions or massive people meetings our goal can be reached more quickly and easy. We need to use posters, posts that may interest people on the internet and social networks that will connect people and bring them all together to the one goal.

Hope you will like it and make some decisions for yourself.

P.S. in Ukrainian "Stina" means "The Wall". and so the main words that the singer in singing is "Let's break the walls between us".

Make the Difference: post 1

Hello Everyone, catching up, here is my ideas and my social media for a social change campaign.
Glad to introduce myself and tell you about my ideas. So I am an exchange student from Ukraine and would like to make a spectacular as I think difference in my country.

I guess some of us are used to hear "I wish I wasn't born here" or "Maybe next life I will be other country citrizen" or even "Can't wait to end high school and move away from this city or even country". As for me it's so hurtful when I hear something like this. I always think about people our grandparents who were fighting in the wars, our parents who are still working hard to bring food to the house and the young generation wants to escape their home-countries. I think this is a massive problem in a lot of the countries, especially mine.

Of course we can try to stop teenage pregnancy, w can put some more restrictions on the alcohol and cigarettes, we can start picking up trash, but for who?! Who will need this in our countries if the youngest and the most productive part of the population doesn't want to live there, doesn't find their homeland their real home..
I understand that I picked up really hard problem, not that specific and not that easy but I just can't think of doing anything good for our home communities if PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO LIVE THERE!

We need to encourage them, and for the younger people the most useful thing to use is social media! We need to use social media for social change to bring the feeling that our home needs help, that our home-communities need their heroes, need the people who will put effort in coming closer to their goals!

Main idea that I have on this point of my view of the problem is using social media through the pictures, through videos, tweets, blogs, youtube, facebook to encourage the youngest generation to make the difference for a social change.
To start from, you can see my profile blogger picture in my blog. My friends from back home know that currently I live in United States as an exchange student presenting my country and community. And even being far away I never forget about home-country and try to introduce my country in school for other young people as best as possible.
